Tencent Holdings Ltd. is a company that is based in Shenzhen, City of China. The multinational company is focused on technology and entertainment conglomerate.

The Chinese company, Tencent, filed for patents focused on concerts held on the metaverse. Many companies in China are racing to secure trademarks with the Chinese National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA).

Tencent piloted last December 31st the first virtual concert in China called TMELAND in celebration of New Year’s Day, which gained more than 1.1 million fans.
