If You’re One of the Crypto-Savvies Living in Colorado, You’re Now Close to Digital Statehood

Residents from Colorado can now use their cryptocurrency assets—Bitcoin and Ethereum, to pay taxes. Jared Polis, a Governor from Colorado, made the announcements a couple of days ago.

The U.S. State of Colorado will accept crypto payments. To address the volatility of digital currencies, the state will use a real-time conversion of the cryptocurrencies equivalent to a dollar for the state’s treasury.
