Previously, Shiba Inu had fallen below 75% from its all-time high price.
On Tuesday, SHIB shot up 12%, making the token reach 52% in total weekly gain, with a $17.9 billion market valuation.

An announcement from the developers of Shiba Inu about virtual plots of land in a new metaverse caused the surge.
Though Shiba Inu’s metaverse name is not yet officially announced, its creators are still looking for designs and ideas for their own digital space; SHIB developers dropped some information on their virtual plots labeled Shiba Lands.
In launching the Shiba Inu metaverse, the company plans to implement a “queue system” to support the sales and auctions of their digital lands by restricting bots and gas wars.
