Blizzard Entertainment Rolls Out Survey About NFT and Metaverse to Players

This week, Blizzard Entertainment, a video game company, sent out to their thousands of “select players” a survey that consisted of cryptocurrency, NFT, metaverse, and the play-to-earn gaming platform questions.

Players weren’t happy with the idea, implying that NFTs could become part of their favorite video games. After taking the survey, respondents were redirected to the Blizzard store, resulting in many users finding it strange.

No one is doing NFTs.

Mike Ybarra, Blizzard’s President, tweeted, “No one is doing NFTs,”—after users on social media posted their mostly negative thoughts.
