Companies from the gaming industry started taking advantage of the web3 technology—heading to the metaverse or obtaining the concept itself.

Who would’ve thought, though, that beverage brands could be using the metaverse as a way to extend their market exposure to other platforms. Fast food companies are doing good in making digital branches in the metaverse.

As ironic as it can be, the Coca-Cola company launched a digital beverage in the video game Fortnite called Coca-Cola Limited Edition Pixel Flavored—its even zero sugar and zero-calorie cola.

Coca-Cola stated that “Byte” is a first-ever beverage born in the metaverse—engaging avatars of people to each other in a virtual world. Indeed, we’re sure it’s pretty effective in reaching their consumers.
