Skechers in the Metaverse; Not Only for Virtual Footwears

Fashion District in Decentraland welcomes Skechers, a footwear company, in selling virtual products related to the company’s trademarks.

Decentraland is a digital space platform popularly known as one of the Metaverse.

Metaverse is a virtual space for people worldwide to connect and interact socially. Cryptocurrencies launching tokens with projects that offer more than a crypto coin limited for trading like Bitcoin is old-school—token projects are now famously used as native digital currencies for their project to run their platform.

Skechers President, Michael Greenberg, said the company invests their future with Decentraland, a three-dimensional virtual world platform. The footwear company also signed a lease of virtual land from Metaverse Group to offer their consumers a new experience on the digital Fashion Street Estate.
