New Balance Joins the Metaverse

New Balance gave NFT the attention it deserves.

The metaverse expansion in the digital space started and kept on expanding. The interactive social platform introduced by Facebook came late in 2021, but it became the center stage for development for interactive platforms and immersive games. The metaverse concept went further when apparel and fashion companies in the industry also went in.

Adidas, the famous company taking part in NFT the last year, also took the attention of other clothing companies in footwear and apparel sports, such as the brand New Balance.

The news circulating the internet that New Balance filed not one but three trademarks, heading for the virtual space goods and services is evident for the metaverse and NFT plans.  Although there was no mention of metaverse or NFT (it will be weird if there is), it is obvious for the filed trademarks by the company.

Josh Gerben, a trademark attorney, posted on Twitter that New Balance sportswear company filed trademarks just last week, January 13, 2022.

Users around the metaverse can now look up to this latest NFT update. The supposed plans by the sports company will have digital wearables to have more options in choosing their outfit in the digital space.
